Saint Helen's School Art Program

Welcome to the new School year. I hope your summer was refreshing and that your child is excited to begin a new school year.

Our beginning Art classes will consist of an inventory of your Childs art supplies. We will spend time labeling our art supplies, if not done already, with permanent markers so that lost items can hopefully be returned to the proper owner. If you have not purchased the requested art supplies, please do so as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter it is greatly appreciated. In addition to the general supplies smocks are also necessary and can be store bought, however an old button down shirt with sleeves cut to the wrist works fine!

Students are held accountable throughout the year for coming to Art class with these supplies. I feel strongly in training the students to be prepared for class which hopefully will instill a sense of responsibility in each of them. Another goal of this policy is to provide a feeling of ownership and pride in their personal belongings. These are life long skills, which will follow them throughout their school career and beyond.
