Physical Education
has been Coach's favorite class since Kindergarten. She always knew she wanted to be a gym teacher when she grew
up. She was a competitive gymnast for 10 years at the state and regional level. When she finished gymnastics she
became a diver on her high school swim team and continued to dive right up through college.
She attended Hudson Valley Community College where she received her Associated Degree in Physical Education. She
then transferred to SUNY Cortland where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and became certified
to teach grades K-12. She is presently working on a Masters Degree in Health Education through the University of
Alabama Distance Learning Program.
Coach has been a huge sports fan all her life. Her favorite team is definitly the NY Yankees. She loves to swim
and play tennis. She has been a varsity diving coach and Red Cross Swim Instructor for the past 4 years. She comes
from a large family with two sisters and two brothers. She currently resides in Troy with her husband and their
black and white kitten named Peanut.
