Terri Mueller, Second Grade
Terri graduated from Mohonasen High School in Rotterdam, received her BS in Elementary Education from Plattsburgh
State College in 1972, and achieved her MS Reading from Albany State in 1989.
Terri became involved with St. Helen's School in 1980 as a parent volunteer and substitute teacher. In September
of 1985 she joined the staff full time as the fifth grade teacher. She taught a contained fifth grade classroom
for four years and then became a team teacher for grades 5 and 6 with Mr. Alan Schick for eleven years. In 2000
Terri became the third grade teacher and in 2002 she began teaching grade 4.

Beginning in the 2007-2008 school year
Terri will move into place as our second grade teacher.
Terri's activities have included membership with the HSA as Secretary from 1981-1982, and as Publicity Chairperson
from 1986-1988. Her duties included representation of HSA on Parish Council and she attended School Board meetings
as Teacher Representative. From 1995-1997 she was the Teacher Liaison for HSA and served as the Teacher Liaison
for School Board from 2000-2002. Presently Terri is the school representative on the Faith Formation Board and
Pastoral Council.
Terri and her husband, Mike, reside in Niskayuna. They have two daughters, a grandson who is entering seventh grade,
a granddaughter entering fourth, and a second grandson who is two years old. During her leisure time Terri enjoys
reading, walking, rollerskating, and playing with her grandchildren. |
