Sister Mary Ruth PBVM, Kindergarten
Originally from New
Jersey , Sister Mary Ruth entered St. Colman's Convent in 1964. She went to St. Joseph's Rosati and Maria College.
Sister worked at Masterson Day Nursery in Albany from 1967-1972 and at St. Colmans Day Care and from 1979-1993
as a Pre-K teacher. Sister taught Nursery/Pre-Kindergarten at St. Helen's from September 1995 to June 1997 and
is currently teaching Kindergarten . From 1972 to the present, Sister Mary Ruth has been working with the emotional
handicapped and the autistic children at St. Colmans. She is a New York State certified Child Care Worker .
Sister also taught second grade at St. Paul's school in 1993-1994 and substituted in Pre-K., Kindergarten, Grade
1 and Grade 2 at St. Ambrose in 1994. |
