Tiffany Salisbury, Kindergarten
B Teacher
Born in Rochester,
NY, Tiffany moved to the Albany area in 1999 after completing undergraduate degrees in both Anthropology and Philosophy
from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
Intending to pursue a career in Forensic Anthropology, Tiffany moved to Albany after graduating from Oneonta and
worked at the Anthropological Survey Department at the New York State Museum. Inspired to turn her attention to
teaching while working with children visiting the museum for weekend parties and educational retreats, she returned
to school and earner her Masters in Education from The College of Saint Rose.
Prior to coming to St. Helen's School, Tiffany worked for two years as Director of Education at the Sylvan Learning
Center in Albany. At Sylvan, she worked with Children from preschool to college age in the role of both administrator
and teacher. Previous to working at Sylvan, Tiffany taught at Saint Brigids Regional Catholic School in Watervliet,
Sacred Heart School in Try and Glenmont Elementary School in Bethlehem.
When she's not in the classroom, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband, Bruce. Her other passions include
scrapbooking, stamping, and card making, reading, singing, theater, rollercoasters, and movies. |
