EDUCARE WELCOME LETTER / GENERAL
GUIDELINES

Dear Parents,
Welcome to the Educare Day Care Center! We are pleased that you and your chlid are interested in our center. An
excellent program has been put together with a very capable and experienced staff.
Since we all will be playing a part in your child's development, we need to mention some responsibilities of the
parent's:
1- You are responsible for your child's transportation to and from school. If someone else is picking your child
up, we need written verification that morning. (WE DO NOT ACCEPT PHONE CALLS - PLEASE HAVE THE PERSON BRING I.D.
WITH THEM).
2 - The following items are NOT ALLOWED at Educare: Candy, Gum, Cough Drops, Diapers, Pacifiers, and Violent Toys
3 - Each child will have their own shoebox. We request that all the children have at least two complete outifts
(including socks and undergarments) and a sweater or sweatshirt in their boxes at all times. Please check your
child's box on a weekly basis.
4 - Each child gets an assigned mat for the school year. Please bring in a crib sheet, travel pillow, and blanket
to sleep with every day.
5 - Each teacher has Show and Tell one day per week. The children are allowed to bring ONE toy to share with their
class. Please note, children may only bring toys from home on Show and Tell days.
6 - We have an all sneaker policy at Educare Day Care.
7 - If your child needs to take ANY KIND OF MEDICATION we need a note from the DOCTOR. This is a STATE LAW.
The staff thanks you very much for your cooperation so together we can meet the common goal of providing a day
care experience that is both pleasant and worthwhile for your child. |
