| ROSARY CLUB: Sister Joseph Mary and a dedicated group
of parent volunteers come and help 3-5th graders make rosaries. These rosaries are sent all over the world to people
in spiritual need. |

ST. HELEN'S SCHOOL NEWSLETTER CLUB:
Our 5th Grade Teacher,
Mr. Styles, encourages some eager 5th Graders to learn the basics about putting together a school newspaper. |

| LIBRARY CLUB: Our Librarian, Mrs. Jeffes, gives our 5th
graders the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Library Science. For example, each child has been assigned
a library bookcase. He/She is responsible for maintaining order in that case. The children also helped host the
book fair last Friday night. |
|
BAND: Our music teacher, Mrs. Teta, has 3-5th graders in lessons one day per
week, and then at the end of the day, they gather to play together. They perform at our concerts. They also make
appearances at special masses, events and they help represent St. Helen's in the annual Niskayuna Day Parade in
May. |

| GIRL SCOUTS: In 2006-2007 we had 1 Daisy Troop in Kindergarten,
One 3rd Grade Brownie Troop, 2 Junior Troops in the 4th Grade and 5th Grade. |

CYO BASKETBALL for 4th and 5th graders is organized by
Mr. Richard Homenick. |
